Solution

The Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) partnered with Breakthru to implement the innovative Youth Hub, a unique platform designed to empower students with knowledge about voter registration while earning rewards for their online advocacy.

The Hub quickly transformed online users into Youth Ambassadors for the MDP, equipping them with digital tools to spread awareness through SMS, social media, and within their schools. By utilizing Breakthru’s Youth Hub, MDP successfully educated and mobilized young voters, leading to a significant increase in youth voter turnout across Michigan.

Youth Feedback

Working with Breakthru has been an impactful and educational experience. We were able to reach hundreds of voters in an attempt to positively contribute to the election of Vice President Kamala Harris and Democrats up and down the ballot.

The Breakthru platform is super fun and easy to use! The missions are quick and to the point, and it feels like a game with parts like crosswords and checking your rank on the leaderboard. Plus, the Blue Crew community makes it even more fun and relatable for Gen Z
